IGF-1 DES is a truncated analogue of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, lacking the first three N-terminal amino acids. This structural modification dramatically reduces binding affinity for IGF-binding proteins, resulting in significantly higher free-fraction bioavailability in preclinical tissue models compared to native IGF-1. Studied for localised effects on myoblast hyperplasia, satellite cell activation, and tissue repair signalling pathways. Supplied as 1mg lyophilised powder.
