MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is an IGF-1 splice variant produced locally in response to mechanical stimulation or tissue damage. Distinct from systemic IGF-1, MGF operates through independent receptor interactions and is studied for its localised role in activating dormant muscle satellite cells, stimulating myoblast proliferation, and coordinating the early phases of tissue repair signalling. Of significant interest in skeletal muscle biology and regenerative research. Supplied as 2mg lyophilised powder.
